Chorus is a choral and instrumental group conducted by Carlo Bennati. The group is currently composed of fifty singers and five instrumentalists: Elena Bruk and Fabio Furlan on piano, Lorenzo Sartori on bass, Roberto Male on drums and Roberto Martinoni on guitar.

The group has a vaste repertoire of light and popular international music (Israeli, South American, gospel), movie soundtracks, music for animated cartoons and international covers. Its repertoire includes also some cappella songs having a popular inspiration. Much of the repertoire is arranged and transcribed by the Director. Particular attention is paid to the quality and content of texts, always inspired by values such as solidarity, friendship and brotherhood. Furthermore, the alternation of choral and solo parts is really fascinating.

From 1995 Chorus sings for charities, cultural associations and public institutions enjoying the public approval and being in favour with the press. Being guest on RAI 2, RAI International, Tele Pace and other private TV, Chorus has a large group of fans that follows the group even abroad. Memorable concerts of the chorus: "2º Festival della Coralità Veneta", the concert for “Natale Vero" live on television, concerts at Paganini’s Theatre in Parma, at Magnani’s in Fidenza, at Salieri’s of Legnago, at Waldsassen Auditorium, the V festival chorus (with range of excellence), the Christmas concert with direction of Maestro Serio on Rai Due and the Concert with the orchestra at Gran Guardia in Verona. The chorus has collaborated with: Irene Grandi, Andrea Mingardi, Katia Ricciarelli, Alberto Jelmoni (tenor), the Estro Armonico (string orchestra), the Arrigo Boito band, and the Jazz set orchestra. The group employs an efficient and versatile amplification system and a lighting system supervised by the sound engineer Luciano Giussani.

The Group's discography includes the music cassette "Feel the spirit" with a selection of spiritual and gospel songs, the CD "ChorusInCovers" with 14 arrangements of famous songs, the CD "ChorusForWater" with a selection of songs on previous recordings supporting the Project "Water and Biodiversity" promoted by Legambiente, the CD "Christmas Songs" entirely devoted to Christmas and the CD "Chorus Ensemble, Chorus live recording with Orchestra. In order to participate to prestigious events, the chorus combines with a string and wind orchestra and takes the name of "Chorus Ensemble".

Chorus has its seat in Caldiero (VR), tourist and thermal centre between the wine areas of Soave, Valpolicella and the east side of the Garda Lake. The chairman Luca Fiorio with the Executive manages all aspects concerning the intense artistic activity of Chorus. The internet site www.chorus.verona.it contains audio tracks, the calendar of all events, a forum and some news for choristers and the audience.
