Carlo Bennati studied choral music, band orchestration and composition with Father Terenzio Zardini, Luigi Lombardi, Efrem Casagrande and Giuseppe Alessandrini at the Conservatory of Verona.

Active since adolescence in liturgical animation, he conducted for almost twenty years men’s, women’s, mixed and treble voice’s choruses of the choral association “Piccole Dolomiti” of Illasi in Verona, his home and residence town.

He has built up the citizens band of Illasi, he has founded the “John Garage Blues Band” performing until 1993 as keyboard player, and he is the conductor of the group “Chorus” of Caldiero since 1995. He is experienced in teaching at the Conservatories of Foggia, Como, Vicenza and Trieste.

He has harmonized, written out and composed for all his groups. Even if music can be considered as one of his hobbies, his intense activity in this field has given him fame in the musical environment.
